It was the fourth edition of TERRE Olympiad (an online quiz competition conducted for students from 5th Std to undergraduate) run annually by TERRE. The quiz which is based on environmental issues, forest, wildlife, ecosystem, climate change, etc is conducted on National Level. The exam aims to spread maximum environmental awareness among the new generation.

This year the project was organized under collaboration of TATA Motors and Symantec Software solution Pvt. LTD. Over 2,49,218 students from all over the country registered for the quiz this year. The participants were distributed in 3 categories depending upon their grade- Sapling (Std 5 to 9), Plant (Std 10 to 12) and Tree (undergraduates). The first round was conducted from 15 August to 15 September 2018 and the final round was conducted from 20 October to 20 November 2018. Out of 2,49,218 student total 3000 students were qualified for the final round.

Total 25 student was selected as top winners and 250 student as consolation prize winner. All the winners were awarded by the hands of for awarded by the hands of Hon. HRD minister Mr. Prakash Javdekar during award Ceremony which was held in Delhi on 16th January 2019at Dr. Sarabhaipalli Auditorium KV2 Cantonment Delhi.

All the winners were awarded with electronic gadgets like Laptop, Tab, Hard drive, Pen drive, Solar Lamp etc. Selected winners from Tree Category were awarded with internship opportunity in MNCs (Multi-National Companies). Top 14 schools were awarded with trophy and certificate under Urban and rural region and different category.
