TERRE Policy Centre successfully organized the Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Young Research Fellowship 2025–2026 (8th Edition) Virtual Award Ceremony on 27th July 2026. The fellowship recognizes exceptional young researchers from across India for their innovative research and their commitment to addressing contemporary scientific, technological, environmental, and societal challenges.

Welcoming the gathering, Dr. Vinitaa Apte, Founder Director of TERRE Policy Centre, emphasized the importance of empowering young researchers through recognition, mentorship, and opportunities to contribute towards sustainable development. She highlighted that Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam's vision continues to inspire India's youth to pursue innovation with integrity and a sense of national responsibility.

The Chief Guest, Dr. R. M. Chitnis, Former Vice-Chancellor of MIT World Peace University, congratulated the fellowship awardees and encouraged them to continue pursuing excellence in research.
